I didn't have much experience with shooting little people. Enter five week old Henry and two year old Evelyn aka the cutest baby and toddler combo ever. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Camperdown - we took some snaps at home and then headed out to the park. Luke and Anna are beautiful people and great parents and I loved spending the afternoon with their little family.
I had the pleasure of being asked by a close friend to be a part of him proposing to his girlfriend. There was a cover story, a picnic and a surprise visit from their dog, Max. She had no idea what was going on and it was beautiful to watch - may have teared up a bit myself! Congrats Jordan + Courtney, much love!
Susannah Best is an incredibly talented Sydney based stylist, fringe rocker and all round exceptional human being. She can pull off anything and one day i convinced her to model for me. We had a shoot with some of her personal favourite items, including a lace dress that was her grandmother's in the 50s. This was circa 2014 and still one of my favourite shoots.
We may have gotten lost on the way and I was starting to stress about losing light, but this was so worth the drive up the mountains! Ended up being perfect light and conditions. Little 'Cookie' as he or she is affectionately known is due next month!

Valentine's day spent with anti Valentine's day lovers Mike + Phil around Paddington Reservoir and Clovelly.
I've known hannah for years and she has this amazing ability to be in front of a camera. It's as if it's not here - and she looks amazing as she does it. All in all; a great photogenic friend to have.
Friends who get engaged and then ask you to take photos of them are good friends.
The fact that Courtney was a child model really came out when I started taking photos of her. She's my go to friend when I feel like doing a shoot on a whim. That face - never gets old.
Young lovers in the Blue Mountains.

I went to school with three of these boys and they'd always been talented musicians. One day one of them asked me if i'd take some photos for them. I had never really shot guys; let alone a group of them but agreed and actually really enjoyed the outcome. Even now, years later, I have a little soft spot for them. I mainly wanted the photos to not be too polished and capture the garage band vibes.
Megan was my housemate for a season and one day I had forgotten to take some photos for an assignment. We headed out in the midday sun; as any photographer knows, not ideal. However the finished product worked so well and I did a happy dance.
The Sydney boy and Georgian Girl. One year after they said 'I do'.
