I grew up across the road from Joy's family. Her sister, Eloise and I have been friends since kindergarten. I was overjoyed, pardon the pun, when Joy first contacted me about shooting their wedding. The mood in the air on the day was seriously nothing but excitement with a dash of content. It made their wedding one of the easiest and most enjoyable to shoot to date.

Rachel contacted me before I had even shot my first wedding. She had such confidence in my abilities and trusted me completely (every photographer's dream) Her and Sam were so in love it was beautiful. Also, they themselves, quite beautiful. I think what stuck out most to me about this wedding was that it was timeless. Rach said to me specifically that she didn't seek inspiration from any magazines or Pinterest while planning. She said "I don't want to look at anyone else's wedding, I just want to have my own."

The cool, laid-back style of this wedding suited the bride and groom perfectly. Kyle and Tamzin were beautiful to work with and Sydney sure put on a show for them.
The Winter Wedding. The Fire Officer and the Lawyer. I love them dearly and loved shooting the first day of their marriage even more. I mightn't have been able to feel my fingers by the end of the bridal party photo time but it was worth it.

Not only did Mitch + Lizzie easily take the best hashtag of all weddings ever title for me (#lizziegetsmitched) they are also some of the loveliest people you could ever meet. Their families welcomed me like family and their bridal party were so much fun to hang out with. Such a happy couple, such a great celebration.

I knew the moment I read Steph's email, particularly the line "... and if so do you feel like coming to Orange for an adventure and one wicked party at which we will be getting married?" that their wedding was not one to miss; and I was not wrong. It was probably the most fun and relaxed wedding of all time.
Also had thee best wedding dance floor ever.

I honestly think Dale + Samela have no idea how good looking they are; and given how in love they were on the day; they were like a poster for model breeding. A small garden ceremony at Vaucluse House followed by a stunning reception at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel's Sunset Room. All in all, a lovely, lovely day.
